Our Story

Carolyn Hedley is the lead consultant and founder of EcoIMPACT SPORTS.

Carolyn has 21 years experience working in sustainability in the sports sector, specialising in environmental managment, climate adaption and resource efficiency.

​​

Following a career in civil & environmental engineering and project management, Carolyn was the Environment and Sustainability Manager with the national governing body Scottish Golf, providing leadership, education, advisory and project management support to clubs and facilities. She collaborated on many industry initiatives, contributed to sustainability programmes at events such as The Open and the Ryder Cup, and was a non-executive Director on the Board of the Greenkeepers Training Committee.

Carolyn founded EcoIMPACT SPORTS in 2021 to provide consultancy support and inspire climate and environmental action across the wider sports sector in Scotland, the UK and beyond.​​

We partner with a network of sustainable sport and technical experts, government and environmental organisations to get the best support for our clients.
